If you are new to manifestation or maybe you're not new to it, but you've had some success manifesting certain things, maybe you're still struggling to manifest in other areas of your life, or maybe you're a little confused about how it actually works because let's be honest, there really is so much conflicting information out there. I wanted to talk to you in this episode about what manifestation
really is and debunk some of the biggest manifestation myths I've seen out there to give you some more clarity. Now, when I first learned about manifestation, I was in my early to mid 20s. It was before I had my spiritual awakening and my brother handed me this book called Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. Highly recommend this book. It's short.
gives simple explanations, provides guided meditations and exercises that are really easy to do. But anyways, he gives me this book and I'm like, what is this? At the time I was like not really into all the woo woo and the spirituality stuff yet.
But I had always been into astrology. I grew up going to church. I had this very strong belief in God and I was open to spiritual concepts. But at the time, I remember just looking at it and kind of setting it aside. And I didn't actually pick it up until years later when I was really struggling going through the breakup, having my Saturn return and like
feeling like everything in my life was falling apart. Of course, in your biggest breakdowns come the biggest breakthroughs. So I remember picking up this book and reading it through and feeling like, my God, this was like a remembrance. Like my soul already knew this information, but I was somehow remembering it or like relearning it in some way. And
Of course, like a couple years ago, I went and had an astrology reading and the astrologer told me that I had been a spiritual teacher and many lifetimes before this. And I'm like, of course, like I felt that that was true. And so for the last seven years or so, and clearly many lifetimes before this, I've been studying manifestation.
personal development, subconscious mind. I've worked with hundreds of clients and I've come to realize that there's just a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there. You see these videos on TikTok. People are saying like, try the five five five method where you write down your desire five times, five times a day for five days and it'll manifest just like magic.
And while these tips and rituals are fun and they can work without a foundational understanding of how manifestation actually works and what it really is, it can be really frustrating when you try something like that and it doesn't work. So let's get into it today and let's clear some of this up. All right.
I'm going to share with you four myths. Now, myth number one is that people think that manifesting is just creating what you want by thinking positively and poof, it happens. And this is a pretty limited and incomplete explanation. So let me explain in my own terms what I believe that it really is. I believe manifestation is
the continuous process of creating your reality through your subconscious beliefs, your overall vibration and actions, meaning who you are being. You're creating your reality through who you are being. So you can't just like, you're not just going to sit there and meditate and visualize what you want and then poof, it's going to happen. Like, yes, it does require for you to take action.
But also I want you to notice that I said it's a continuous process, meaning it's happening all the time. Whether you realize it or not, it's not something that you have to try to do. So just like gravity exists and it's happening all the time and maybe you can't really see it. So is the law of attraction and all of the universal laws.
are happening all the time, whether you believe in them or not, it's happening. It's not something you believe in, it just is. And when you understand and work with the universal laws, which are just the principles that govern how our universe works, you manifest what you want effortlessly, like it just happens. And so the other aspect to this is that people think manifesting means
you are just creating what you want. But like I said before, you are always manifesting nonstop all the time, whether it's wanted or unwanted. And so the key is to be an intentional manifestor, to learn how to do it with intention. So if you're new to manifestation, you feel like it hasn't worked or you're confused in any way,
Let me give you a basic understanding of the most important universal laws that define how manifestation works and how you are constantly creating at every moment. the law of vibration states that everything in this universe is energy vibrating at different frequencies. So you, me, this chair I'm sitting in, your thoughts, feelings, your words, sounds, all of that
is vibration. Things that appear solid are actually just vibrational energy. And so you are actually more space than you are matter. Feelings like love and gratitude, though they are at the highest vibrational frequency. So the frequency of love is 528 Hertz. Like there's an actual number for the frequency and
You can you can listen to these frequencies. I listen to 528 Hertz at night on Spotify. If you just look up solfeggio frequencies on Spotify, when you listen to certain frequencies, you elevate your own vibration to that frequency. But the same goes for the lower vibrational frequencies, like feelings like hate, shame, greed. Those are some of the lowest frequencies.
And I don't know if you are familiar with Dr. Imoto's water experiment. If you're not, go look him up, but I'll give you an understanding here. He's a Japanese scientist who proved that your thoughts, words, and intentions affect what manifests for you. So he did a few things. One thing he did was he spoke kind and loving words to plants and they grew.
like beautifully. And then he spoke words of hate and the plants like didn't grow. But he also studied the molecules of water under a microscope after speaking loving kind words and the the molecules of the water that had positive words spoken to it formed into these perfect, beautiful
snowflakes under the microscope. But the water that had negative hate words spoken to it formed into this like ugly disformed shape. Now you are 70 % water. So think about how your thoughts, your words, your intentions affect you, your overall frequency, your vibration and your physical appearance.
So you have an overall vibrational frequency. You're giving up off at all times, right? You can feel people's energies. You can walk into a room and feel whether it's bad vibes or good vibes. Like you can be around someone and tell whether they, their energy is good or you like don't want to be around them, right?
So.
Your vibration is determined by what you're consistently thinking, feeling, focused on, and believing. The law of attraction states that like vibration attracts like vibration. So you attract situations, people, opportunities, relationships, things, experiences.
into your life that reflect your general overall vibration. And since you are energy that's vibrating at all time, you are constantly attracting more of what matches your vibration. So having an overall like general low frequency is going to attract low vibe situations, negative toxic people, relationships, experiences.
more of the things that you likely don't want. Having a higher overall frequency attracts more things you do want, better opportunities, other high vibrational people, relationships, positive experiences, like all the things you do want. But what you need to understand is that you are always manifesting based on your frequency, whether it's wanted or unwanted.
Now this leads me to myth number two. Myth number two is that people think in order to manifest what you want that you have to just be positive all the time. You have to think positive all the time. And that if you have a negative thought, that means you're going to manifest something negative into your life. And that's not really how it works. If you manifested things based on every single thought you had,
That would just get ridiculous, right? You would think about a blue elephant and poof, there would magically appear. So like, thank God your thoughts don't immediately manifest. But what you focus on consistently with intention, you send your energy towards what you send your energy towards. You magnetize back towards you. OK, so if you continually
have the same negative thoughts over and over again, you're focused on what you don't want. You're actually sending your energy towards what you don't want. But having a negative thought or negative feeling isn't bad. It isn't necessarily going to manifest. In fact, ignoring your negative emotions and trying to just be positive all the time.
can be even more toxic when you don't allow your feelings to process because what happens is that your body holds on to those negative emotions, those unprocessed emotions, and it ends up affecting your overall frequency, keeping you in a low vibration, and that just becomes counterproductive. So feeling your emotions, processing them,
is what sets them free and is what keeps your overall vibration high. And this is why I love EFT tapping. I'm sure I'll talk a lot more about EFT on this podcast as we go on, but EFT stands for emotional freedom technique. And what you do with this is you tap on different energy meridian points of your body.
to release trapped emotions that are generally keeping you stuck and keeping you from manifesting what you desire. So tapping helps raise your vibration and your overall frequency. And it also helps reprogram your subconscious mind because you start tapping on positive affirmations. So while it's important to have a positive mindset and to feel grateful,
in order to manifest what you want, having a negative thought or emotion is not going to manifest something bad or unwanted. There is a universal law called the law of polarity, which means that for every everything, there is an equal and opposite. There is a polar opposite of everything. So without having the negative emotions, we wouldn't
truly understand and appreciate the higher vibrational emotions. Does that make sense? So it's like without the bad, you can't have the good without the good. You can't have the bad. It's there's a balance that happens within the polarity. So let me bring you to myth number three. Now, if you have bought into the fact that you need to take action to manifest what you want,
The problem is, that sometimes this happens where you think that if you just change your actions, you set an intention, you're going to change your actions, you're going to change your habits, and that's what's going to manifest what you want. Have you ever set a New Year's resolution or a New Year's intention and you're like, okay, I'm going to wake up earlier. I'm going to eat healthier. I'm going to work out every day. You have these beautiful
intentions and these goals and you're like, I'm just going to do it. You just, I'm just going to decide to do it. But then something happens along the way and you end up resorting back to your old habits, your old ways. You, there's an excuse of something that keeps you from showing up the way you want to show up and it doesn't manifest. And that can be really disheartening.
Right? When you're really trying your hardest to change, to make a positive change in your life. Here's the key. Your identity is the key to manifesting because your identity is what affects your habits. And without changing your identity,
your habits will always act in alignment with your identity.
Your identity are your subconscious beliefs, who you believe yourself to be, what you believe you're capable of, what you believe you're worthy of. These subconscious beliefs, your identity affects your thoughts. Your thoughts affect your feelings. Your feelings affect your actions and your habits. All of that influences your overall vibration and what you attract into your life.
and your results.
And so you have to actually go to the root. If you want to make lasting transformational change, if you want to manifest something and keep it in your life, you got to go to the root, which is your subconscious mind. Everything you have in your current reality is a manifestation of your subconscious programming of your beliefs about yourself and the world around you. Would you take a moment and like,
really absorb what I'm saying to you because when I first learned this, it blew my mind. And it's a huge part of what I help my clients with to make big lasting changes in their life. So your habits, like I said before, are influenced by your subconscious beliefs. You may not even be aware of what your subconscious beliefs are.
These are beliefs that have formed throughout your whole life from childhood, sometimes they even form from a past life or from generational programming, and then through your experiences as you grow up. And your mind is constantly being programmed, to be honest, from everything that you watch, listen to, read, because words are vibration.
and what you ingest affects your overall vibration. Your vibration is influenced by the people you're surrounded by, your environment, from society as a whole. And so if thinking positively or just trying to change your habits hasn't worked in the past, it's because your identity, your subconscious beliefs don't align with what you want.
You don't align with your goal with what you're trying to manifest. I'm going to give you an example. Let's say you want to manifest 10K months in your business. So you're repeating positive affirmations. You're telling yourself you are a wealthy woman. You are hustling. You're like trying to take action and do everything you can to get the clients. But it's just not happening. This is a sign.
you may have subconscious limiting beliefs that are blocking you. No matter what your intentions are, you have all the right intentions to create the life you desire. But like something happens, you self-sabotage, you procrastinate. This is your subconscious programming working against you.
So you may have, like, I'll give you an example of a limiting belief that could be blocking you. Let's say your parents growing up always snickered about wealthy people. That could have created the subconscious limiting belief that having money is greedy or bad in some way. And so even though you want to make more money, you love money. There's a part of you
that doesn't feel safe having it, which sabotages your efforts. So again, in order to manifest what you actually want, you have to change your subconscious programming on an identity level.
When you change your identity, your subconscious beliefs, your habits, actions, and what you attract will all align with that. And that's what embodiment is really all about. Embodying the version of you that has what you want. Have you ever heard that? Like you have to embody the version of you that has what you want in order to manifest it. Embodying the version of you, that means
Be that person. That means be the identity of that person that already has it. The beliefs, the beliefs affect the actions, the actions and the vibration, and that affects everything. And this is like, this information is sometimes easier said than done, which is why I really teach embodiment practices like breath work, EFT tapping, meditation.
And I have extensive training and knowledge in subconscious reprogrammed techniques because doing this on your own sometimes is hard. It's hard to break through from the cycle of self-sabotage you've gotten yourself stuck in. But it is possible to create lasting transformational change in your life. Okay, let's talk about myth number four.
Myth number four is that people think manifesting is something that you do on your own. Like it's up to you and you alone to change your life. And while sure, there's some truth to that. No one's going to change your life for you. Like you have to be the one to take the action to get clear on your limiting beliefs, to work through it. But...
It's also a co-creation process with God, with the divine, with source energy or whatever term it is that you resonate with.
The universal law, the law of one, states that everything in this universe is connected energetically. Like we are all extensions of source energy, meaning you are created through the eyes of God and you are a piece of God, like a fragment. You are source energy expressing itself. So no, you are never.
alone. are not manifesting by yourself. You are a part of God. God is co-creating with you and through you. So there is this element of trusting and knowing that you are always divinely guided and supported along your way. So you don't have to control or manipulate the outcome. How
freaking freeing is that knowing that it's not all up to you. It doesn't all weigh on you. Your job is to get clear on what you want, align your energy with that and take inspired action. Then surrender the rest to the divine. Sometimes when it looks like nothing's happening or like your desire isn't
manifesting, maybe you give up. And this is the problem because what's really going on is that God and like your spirit team, your angels, your spirit guides are lining things up for you in ways you couldn't see or fathom. And sometimes things have to fall out of your life.
to create space for something better. So it seems like it's not working, but really there's like things going on behind the scenes that you can't see. As Gabby Bernstein likes to say, the universe is always conspiring in your favor. So have faith that what you desire is meant for you. God would not place that desire in your heart if it weren't meant for you. And since
You are a part of God, you're co-creating together, your pure heart's desires are of God as well. Okay. I'm gonna continue to dive deeper into some of these concepts throughout this podcast, but I wanted to lay a bit of a foundation for you on what manifesting really is and bust through some of these myths to
